What is Turner Syndrome?
Turner Syndrome is a chromosomal condition resulting from the total or partial absence of one of the X chromosomes. It occurs in 1 out of every 2500-3000 live births.
If you'd like the medical and technical details, please visit the National Society's Website or that created by the Ploofs in Texas. My intent here is not to duplicate their very valuable information, but to give TS girls and women like myself an opportunity to tell "our side of the story."
If you would like your experiences to be reflected here, please contact me.
Parents of TS girls, if you are concerned about what level of information about TS your daughter
will get from this, please read through first.
